The Wig

Trotta salons were founded in 1960, at the heart of Rome’s Dolce Vita era. The first wig, entirely handcrafted, was the brainchild of the Trotta brothers, celebrated as some of the finest hairstylists of their time. The undeniable success of their early creations paved the way for the development of innovative weaving and coloring techniques during the 1970s, when wigs became a true fashion trend.

Even today, wigs remain an essential element of beauty and self-care.

Tailored to meet the diverse needs and preferences of modern women, Trotta wigs stand out for their personalized styling, cutting, and coloring, making them a versatile and flawless substitute for natural hair.

Wig Maintenance and Care

Proper care will help your Trotta wig maintain its beauty over time. Follow our recommended washing instructions, ideally washing once a month if worn daily.

HOW TO WEAR YOUR WIG

  1. Ensure your hair is neatly secured at the nape of your neck.
  2. Hold the wig by its side tabs using your fingertips.
  3. Place the wig on your head, starting at the front.
  4. Align the wig so your natural hairline matches the elastic cap’s edge.
  5. Use the Velcro fasteners inside the cap to adjust the fit.
  6. To add volume or restyle, use a wide-tooth comb or your fingers to shape the wig as desired
  7. After each use, shake out the wig and store it on a stand to maintain its shape.
